Although Paris is called the City of Lights, it could be called the City of Startups. Paris has recently seen massive growth in its startup ecosystem, largely due to the government's support in opening massive startup campuses and funding programs.
Startup leaders in the city also boast that Paris is becoming even more accommodating to English speakers and that entrepreneurs are becoming more ambitious and taking more risks. So, who knows? Fellows who choose Paris as their host city may be part of the next Criteo or BlaBlaCar.
