FAQS
Lorem
Why is there a cost for this program?
This program is more than just an internship. It is a career accelerator program that is designed to prepare you to work in today’s global economy. Your internship is one of the ways we provide opportunities to learn by doing. You will have access to online hard-skill modules, fireside chats with Alumni, seminars and Q&As with experienced professionals about their fields of expertise, and industry events to attend and hone your skills. You also are eligible to earn a stipend from your host company to offset program costs. The program fee is competitive with most university courses, and you can earn 3-6 credits pending approval from your home university.
How do the time zones affect my work schedule?
We are connected with startups around the world so there is a chance the company will be in a different timezone than where you live. The benefit to this is you can work early or late depending on location and your preference! You will need to communicate directly with the company you are matched with to work out times where you are both able to meet and attend meetings. While there might be some late nights or early mornings, your impactful work will make it all worth it!
Is this internship paid?
As a part of the program, we ask the startup companies to provide a stipend for students. We match students on a rolling basis, so there is a better chance that you will intern with a stipend company the sooner you enroll in the program and start the matching process with us.
What resources do you offer to offset the cost?
Grants are a great way to offset part of the program. In some cases, your university offers funding for professional programs and internships, as well as honoring academic credit. Please visit our financial resources page to learn more. In addition, some startups will offer a stipend. We do not guarantee the startup you work for will be one that pays, but we do ask you to rank the importance of this aspect so we can best match you.
