This year’s students come from 56 different universities. We especially want to thank a few of our amazing university partners for their support this summer, especially the study abroad office at University of Colorado Boulder and University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Our students also received grant funding from programs at University of Michigan’s LSA Opportunity Hub, Harvard University’s Office of Career Services, and Colby College, among others.
In addition to our locations from last year, we also launched a new hybrid program in Lisbon. Students participate in a 12-week remote internship with the month of July spent working from Lisbon. We love this city and can’t wait to see what the cohort thinks of it.
This summer’s cohort has an average GPA of 3.7 and represent 85 different academic majors. We were impressed to see that our fellows completed 9,992 online video modules as part of Sage Corps Skills Academy working on their hard and soft skills training ahead of their internship.
This year’s cohort represents 29 different citizenships, 52% identify as men, and 59% identify as a racial minority.
We hope you’ll follow this year’s cohort on Instagram at @SageCorps to get updates on this year’s students interning abroad. For our summer fellows, we can’t wait to see everything you accomplish this summer and beyond!
