SUMMER 2026 INTERNATIONAL INTERNSHIPS FOR UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN-MADISON STUDENTS

Sage Corps is not an average 9-5 internship experience. Here’s why:

  • Regardless of your major, the Sage Corps Entrepreneurship Program will give your resume an entrepreneurial edge. You’ll prove that you’re self-motivated, innovative and ready to take on any challenge. And we really mean any major – you don’t need to be an engineer or business student to succeed in our programs (but you can be).
  • For this 8 week program, you’ll work full-time alongside CEOs, CMOs, and CTOs to build real solutions to real problems. Your days won’t consist of coffee runs and making copies, but instead will be spent creating go-to market strategies, mobile apps, or other things that will truly make a difference in your startup.
  • You’ll live like a local, both personally and professionally. Forget the touristy vacation experience—our students will feel connected with and immersed in the local culture.

 UW-Madison Application

Students should apply through International Academic Programs (IAP) in addition to completing their application with Sage Corps. Alongside your internship, you will take an online course, IS-523 Culture & the Global Workplace (3 UW-Madison credits). You can learn more and start the IAP application process here for the Amsterdam program, here for our programs in Spain and the application for Lisbon will open soon. The application deadline is February 6, 2025.

Sage Corps Scholarships

Sage Corps is offering three (3) need-based scholarships of $1,000 each for University of Wisconsin–Madison students participating in our 8-week international internship program in Amsterdam, Lisbon, or Madrid during Summer 2026. These scholarships help offset program costs for students eager to gain global work experience and who need additional financial support to go abroad.

In addition to any scholarships and funding through your home university, students may also be eligible for supplemental funding of up to $3,500 from one of our external non-profit partners. This additional funding is designed to support students who can cover the program cost but need additional assistance with flights and living expenses. To qualify, students must demonstrate proof of enrollment and financial need. Interested students can inquire during the interview process.
