Start! Program

  • 2 weeks
  • Available in January
  • Complete a small team project for a startup

Each year, Sage Corps receives thousands of applications from top students from all over the world and invites a select few to join the program as Fellows. During the program, Fellows intern full-time at tech startups while immersing themselves in a new culture. Returning home as Alumni, they gain access to a robust global network, and receive mentorship and career development support that continues for a lifetime. Each Sage Corps program is designed to give your resume an entrepreneurial edge - without messing up your graduation plan.

Full-Time Entrepreneurship Program

For this 8- or 12-week program, you’ll work full-time alongside CEOs, CMOs, and CTOs to build real solutions to real problems. Your days won’t consist of coffee runs and making copies. Instead, you might build a supply chain for a surfing startup in Sydney, a go-to-market strategy for a Santiago eCommerce site, or a new algorithm for a FinTech startup in Hong Kong.

You’ll live like a local, both personally and professionally. During our weekly on-site professional development programming, you’ll build a global network. Forget the touristy vacation experience—our fellows feel connected with and immersed in the local culture.

Start! Program

The Start! Program distills our longer programs into two weeks - ideal for students who want international experience without sacrificing semester coursework or summer opportunities. During your micro-internship, you can expect to work on a small team of Sage Corps Fellows to complete a project for a global startup, while also taking advantage of everything your program city has to offer.

Some of the Start! Program highlights:

  • Visit a new country and explore your host city through the lens of local entrepreneurs. See the sights, taste the food, and dive into the local culture.
  • Check out your city's startup scene, meet local entrepreneurs and work out of startup hubs.
  • Collaborate with a small team of Fellows on a short-term project for a startup. Past projects include auditing a global data platform's website and creating a comprehensive social media strategy for a travel tech startup.
  • Start building your global network with professional and local networking events in the city.

Bummer, we're not taking applications for the Start! Program at the moment. Check back soon for locations, dates, and prices for the January 2019 edition.
