SINGAPORE

Singapore, the world's only island-city state, is a global commerce, finance and transport hub. Although it is a relatively young country, it has been rated by the World Bank as the "easiest place to do business" for 10 consecutive years. For a country its size, it has a plethora of languages, religions and cultures. Dining, along with shopping, is said to be the country's national pastime. The diversity of food is touted as a reason to visit the country, and the variety of food representing different ethnicities.

When you choose to intern as a Sage Corps Fellow in Singapore, you place yourself in one of Asia's most promising tech startup hubs. Above all else, you get the unique opportunity to build skills that will impress future employers. Simply put, the startup scene in Singapore is booming. It ranks number two on the Index of Economic Freedom, has several entrepreneurship visas, and the government approves foreigners' employment passes within days. Not to mention, Singapore boasts near-perfect marks for cleanliness and the public transportation system is world class.
