Our team will help you every step of the way through the pre-departure process including enrolling you in your host university abroad and matching you with your internship. You will live with other Sage Corps participants in furnished off-campus apartments and attend events through the semester with your cohort and local Sage Corps City Manager.

What's included in the program?

Sage Corps is more than just an internship. Our semester study and intern abroad program includes:

1. PRE-DEPARTURE MODULES

Before you leave, you’ll complete an online curriculum designed to prepare you for a comprehensive professional and academic experience. The curriculum is personalized to each student, but may include course modules such as: professional networking, industry workshops (sales, analytics, marketing, design etc.), self-assessment, and cultural and academic preparations.

2. ON-SITE ORIENTATION

Upon arrival in your program city, you’ll attend a two-day Sage Corps Orientation designed to acquaint you with your new home and prepare you to make the most out of your internship. You will also attend a university specific orientation at your host institution.

3. TAKE CLASSES ABROAD

We will help enroll you in our partner host university where you will  take between 3-5 classes across a wide range of subjects. You will study alongside both local students and other international students.

4. INTERNSHIP AT A GLOBAL STARTUP

Our team of expert careers professionals matches you to an internship with a local startup based on your skills, background, and goals. You will intern part-time alongside your classes for the semester. Startups cover all industries, such as education, sustainability, finance, retail, travel, and food, among others.

4. SCHEDULED EVENT PROGRAMMING

Throughout the program you’ll attend professional and cultural events with your cohort and city manager. Events can range from panel discussions or networking events to a cooking class or walking city tour.
